Seeking part-time (20 hours per week) sexual assault nurse examiner (SANE) to coordinate regional response to sexual assault in Navajo and Apache counties and perform forensic exams. Certified SANE preferred, with at least two years experience, but willing to train the right candidate. Position is grant funded through the Department of Justice until September 30, 2011. This Clinical Coordinator position will be based out of North Country HealthCare, a federally qualified community health center, and will work closely with the Flagstaff team to create a regional community response and fulfill grant requirements. This is a new clinic location for NCHC and is located in the White Mountains of eastern Arizona. We opened our doors in July 2009. This is an outpatient opportunity with phone call 1 in 12 weeks. No OB. Providers can work Monday through Friday 8am-5pm with 4 X 10 hour shifts possible. Part time possible as well. During an 8 hour shift providers are expected to see 18-24 patients per day. NCHC received a federal grant and will be building a new clinic which should be completed by summer 2011. Providers may live in Holbrook or Winslow. This is an outpatient opportunity with phone call 1 in 12 weeks. No OB. Providers work Monday through Friday 4 X 10 hour shifts or 5 X 8 hour shifts. Part time is possible as well. During a 10 hour shift providers are expected to see 22-25, 8 hour shift 18-24 patients. Clinic is currently staffed with 1 FP MD, 1 PEDS MD and 2 PA’s. NCHC payer mix is mainly Medicaid, Medicare and sliding scale fee patients in additions we also see about 15% commercial insurance. All North Country HealthCare clinics are loan repayment qualified!
